Silver Shield 9 was designed for short-circuit MIG welding of stainless-steel. If you own a MIG machine below 250 amps rated output and weld stainless-steel, Silver Shield 9 is a great choice. Short-circuit MIG welding of stainless-steel can be used for material up to ¼” thick.
